It's not very often that I talk about my mom but the holidays got me in my feelings.It's been over a decade since I've talked to my mother, and most people don't know that the last time I talked to her was actually on Thanksgiving day so the holiday always gives me mixed feelings.
Justifiably people always have a lot of questions about my relationship with my mother because it's pretty rare that a mother daughter relationship is so severely severed and honestly I live so much of my life so publicly that when you don't share some aspects they become the most sought after information.
So here it is. I opened up about her- which is rare and here's a very small peek into that relationship and by no means is the full story, but maybe we'll save that for another day.
