If you’ve ever tried to cancel a subscription, you know how difficult it is to even find a way to cancel. Well, the Federal Trade Commission is changing that. It announced it would soon put in place a "final click to cancel rule." It would require sellers to make it "as easy for consumers to cancel their enrollment as it was to sign up." FTC Chair Lina Khan said that the rule will end businesses' "tricks and traps," saying they "make people jump through endless hoops just to cancel a subscription."
