Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, celebrated seven years of marriage on Monday (January 26).

Lambert, 42, shared photos on Instagram with McLoughlin, 34, taken throughout their relationship. The powerhouse singer-songwriter captioned her post, “cheers to 7 years, [Brendan McLoughlin] 💍🩵🐴🐶” The couple met in November 2018, when Lambert and her Pistol Annies bandmates performed on Good Morning America. McLoughlin, a former NYPD police officer, was working security at the performance. One of Lambert’s bandmates invited McLoughlin to a show that evening, where he and Lambert quickly connected. They got married in an intimate, private ceremony in January 2019 outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

“We’re kindred spirits, even though we’re from different parts of the country. I feel like I have such a strong support system with him, and he also tells me the truth,” Lambert said in a previous interview with COWGIRL Magazine. She added that McLoughlin “is so supportive. I’m so lucky to have him as my husband. …You know, it’s like having somebody at home who can bring you back to earth and really tell it to you straight, even if it’s sometimes hard to hear. I’m so thankful that he’s willing to come on this journey with me, and this adventure, but also be a grounding spot and a home for me.”
