Miranda Lambert's connection to Yellowstone goes pretty deep — but would the "If I Was a Cowboy" singer ever consider making an appearance on the show?

Besides her cameo in the form of a 20-year-old Revolution poster from 2009 hanging up in the bunkhouse on the show — "I was like, 19 in that picture!" — the Texas native revealed to Entertainment Tonight if she would ever make a real appearance. "I've never been an actress. It's not my favorite thing. I've done one thing and it was probably the one," Lambert said, referencing her 2012 appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Lambert went on to reveal the one condition she has that could change her mind. "I'm not saying I won't ever do it again. But if I can play myself... that's a little bit easier on me," she said.

While we're patiently waiting to see if this would ever come true, the "Bluebird" singer is focusing on her "Velvet Rodeo" residency in Las Vegas, one of which she was recently forced to cancel due to a doctor-ordered vocal rest. She also continues to write new music, but this time, not for herself.

"I really enjoy getting in rooms with other artists and sort of getting in their heads, because I've been the artist in the room for so many years with amazing writers," she told the news outlet. "Getting to sort of get in someone else's creative space and find what they're looking for, it's been really fun."

One of those songs she's written? Morgan Wallen's "Thought You Should Know," which recently was a first for Lambert, who celebrated her first No. 1 as just a songwriter.

"I've written some number ones that I was the performer, but I never had a number one solo as a writer. So I was really proud of that. And it's a song about his mama, which I love," Lambert said about the song off Wallen's newest release, One Thing At A Time.
