Two country stars are teaming up to co-host a new house flipping series on the Design Network. Jennifer Wayne and Brad Rempel — of Runaway June and High Valley, respectively — will “become your favorite professors” at “Flip University,” the Design Network announced on Thursday (August 18).

The upcoming TV series, Flip U, will follow Wayne and Rempel as they examine “the dos and don’ts” of flipping a house, working with flipping teams in Nashville, Tennessee. Wayne and Rempel announced their plans to co-host the show on their social media channels on Thursday afternoon.

Wayne remembered meeting Rempel through music, and bonding over real estate. She said in a statement that the pair used to talk about real estate tips, and they’re excited to share them on the show. Wayne said on Instagram that she “cannot wait to share this show with y’all and highlight some rockstar flippers in Nashville!”

Rempel, who recalled swapping house-flipping stories with Wayne in the studio or on the road, also shared the news on High Valley’s Instagram account, noting the irony that he “grew up without a TV and now I have my own TV show!

“Everyone wants to know what it takes to buy a house for a certain price, spend the money and sweat equity fixing it up, and make 100 grand on selling day.” Design Network CEO Jason Harris said in a statement. “Our team is thrilled to be bringing flipping programming to TDN in 2023 led not only by talent with great real estate experience, but deep roots in country music. Jennifer and Brad bring an electricity to our network that we can’t wait for viewers to experience.”

The Design Network states that it upcoming six-pert series is slated to premiere in Spring 2023 on all major streaming platforms.
