The day everyone was waiting for since Taylor Swift’s groping trial began finally happened – she took the stand. During testimony yesterday, Taylor described how DJ David Mueller grabbed her bare behind and “latched on” as they went to take a photo during a meet and greet at her concert. And she didn't mince any words along the way.
“He did not touch my rib. He did not touch my hand. He grabbed my bare a**," Taylor said. "He stayed latched on to my bare a** ... as I moved away from him visibly uncomfortable." She added, “It was a definite grab. A very long grab,” noting, "It was a very shocking thing that I have never dealt with before.” Here are some other highlights from your testimony:
She insisted her bodyguard saw Mueller “lift my skirt,” but since nobody was behind her as they posed for the photo no one saw the DJ's hand underneath it.Taylor explains that she didn’t call Mueller out right there because she didn’t want fans in the room to hear what was happening, and that she went on with the 'meet and greet' so as not disappoint to those fans. When Mueller’s attorney suggested she could have taken a break when it happened, she shot back, “And your client could have taken a normal photo with me.”Taylor was also very clear that it was Mueller and nobody else who grabbed her. "It happened to me. I have a 3-D rendition of what happened in my brain," she said. "I could have picked him out of a line of 1,000. I know exactly who did this. It is not alleged. It is a fact.... You can ask me a million questions about it and I'm never going to say anything different."Taylor also insisted she had nothing to do with Mueller’s firing and as for whether she felt he deserved it, she replied, “I don't feel anything about Mr. Mueller. I don't know him.”
