This is how to turn off what Facebook can see you doing...OFF facebook!

This one FLOORED me. Facebook tracks the websites you visit even off of Facebook. There is a setting "Off Facebook Activity" that has a history of all of the websites you've visited off of Facebook. It's difficult to find this menu. Facebook tracks this stuff to provide better advertising for you.

Creepy.

A few of them, they deserve to know if Facebook lead me there...like if their advertising got me there. But I'm trying to figure out if they are tracking links that I clicked on through Facebook or all of my data in the Safari app. What to do:

  • Select Settings and privacy and click on the Settings option.
  • Now, click on Your Facebook Information from the left column and then on the Off-Facebook activity option.
  • You can also directly visit the Off-Facebook activity page after logging in to your Facebook account.
  • Click here for the Facebook instructions
