TMSG: Boy Leads Effort To Make 1K Lunches For Homeless

7-year-old Jayden Freedman spearheaded an effort to help the homeless of his community in Maryland.

Along with the help of others, Freedman helped make bagged lunches that were dropped off to homeless shelters in the area. He shared with 11 News why he feels the need to give back, "So we can give it other people and that makes the other people put a smile on their face, and people like to see a smile on other people's faces."

Since doing his first bagged lunch effort, Freedman plans to make lunches for the homeless a priority. He says he'll be bagging lunches at least once a month.
