Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher Urge All To 'Stay At Home' Amid COVID-19

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are using their celebrity to share an important message with the Tennessee community.

In a new video message, which was shared via the American Idol alum's social media, Underwood and Fisher are seen inside and they want their followers to do the same. "To help the health of our community, we’re asking everyone to stay at home as much as possible and practice social distancing," the retired NHL player says, before Underwood chimes in. "That’s right. Working together, we can stop the spread of COVID-19."

"Do your part. Stay apart," the two urge in unison, as part of the #TNStayApart social media campaign, which encourages citizens to stay inside their homes and only leave for essentials. The was post was originally shared on the official Instagram account for the Nashville Predators.

Earlier this week, Underwood also shared her condolences over Joe Diffie's death via social media. "Absolutely no words for the loss of Joe Diffie. The music and legacy he leaves behind are legendary," she tweeted, adding, "Prayers for his family and friends."
