Taylor's Mom goes on the stand in her "groping" trial

Taylor Swift’s mother Andrea Swift took the stand yesterday in the singer’s court battle against DJ David Mueller and things got emotional.  During the second day of testimony, Andrea pointed right at the man accused of groping her daughter, adding, “I knew exactly what happened. He sexually assaulted her — right there, that guy.”

Andrea did acknowledge that she didn’t see the groping incident go down, but recalled Taylor telling her about it. “I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time,” she said, explaining that they contacted the DJ’s radio station to tell them what happened, hoping he’d be fired, but insisting that they didn't request or demand that it happen.

As for whether he deserved to be fired, Andrea said, “He committed a sexual assault on my daughter. He absolutely did.”

  • Mueller also continued his testimony yesterday insisting again that he didn’t grope Taylor, but admitting that the photo of him with his hand behind her is “weird and awkward.” He said he had put his arm around her for the picture and their hands got crossed, with his hands at her rib cage before “apparently it went down” to closer to her skirt.
  • ONE MORE THING! Apparently Taylor is very concerned that her groping trial is going to be the butt of a few jokes. Sources tell the New York Post, people on her team have been calling late night talk shows to see if the hosts plan to make jokes about the case. “[Swift] doesn’t really want to be in the media cycle unless it’s on her own terms. She loves to control her narrative,” an insider said. “I’m sure she doesn’t want to have this moment right before she’s gearing up for an album release.”
